Get Involved - [ Directed Study: Research Labs]
Directed Individual Study (PSY 4000) is your chance to do a hands-on research internship with a Psychology Faculty member. It provides you with the opportunity to apply what you have learned in psychology classes so far, work one-on-one with faculty members and other students, and gain invaluable lab experience applicable to both getting a job in psychology and applying to graduate programs. If you are interested in this opportunity you can 1.) talk to your adviser, 2.) look over the faculty research interests and contact faculty members about whether they have need of a research assistant, 3.) look over descriptions of research labs and see if any of the labs are conducting research of interest to you.
