Current Students - [ About Our Students ]
We expect you to be a full-time student and to make a full-time commitment to psychology. You will find our programs challenging and interesting. We do not demand every minute of your life, but we expect a lot from you. There is too much to learn in a short time to approach it any other way.
Our philosophy is that both you and we should know as early as possible whether or not you will make it in the program. We determine this primarily on the basis of your performance during the first year, although we require you to keep up a consistently high standard of work throughout your stay here. We have no quota of students to weed out, we generally do not grade or evaluate on a curve, and while our standards are high, students who are good enough to be admitted and consistently work hard will succeed. Typically, about two-thirds of our students who start the program get their degrees, and most of those who fail or drop out simply aren't ready for graduate school.
