Research Labs - [ Advanced Social Psychology Lab]

Interested in research on interpersonal relationships, attitudes, aggression and/or legal decision-making? In the Social Psychology research lab, we conduct research on social networks, dating, peer social exclusion, parasocial relationships, obsessive behavior, relationship violence, intergroup bias, political decision-making, and perceptions of crimes - to name a few topics. New topics come up each semester in lab meetings where we read the latest research and think about what we could do next. It is a research co-op where you contribute time and ideas and in return have opportunities to explore your own topics, present research at conferences, and learn about what goes on behind the scenes in a research lab. If you have completed Experimental Psychology and/or Social Psychology, we could use your help! For more information, contact Dr. Colleen Sinclair, csinclair@psychology.msstate.edu
