Research Interests
- Clinical Cognition - I study how mental health professionals think, particularly in the areas of diagnosis and case conceptualization.
- Classification of Psychopathology - How are various mental disorders understood and organized? I investigate current issues surrounding the DSM; problems, strengths, and how professionals interact with the manual.
- Scholarship of Teaching and Learning - I empirically investigate issues of the college classroom including how students optimally learn, what techniques are effective in teaching, and how learning/good teaching are assessed.
