Current Areas of inquiry:
- Jury decision making - individual difference factors and trial-related factors that influence jury decisions in violent crime cases
- Provoked aggression - individual difference and social factors that influence when or whether people respond to provocation with aggression
- Criminal profiling - factors that influence profiling accuracy; methods for improving accuracy
- Risky behaviors - individual difference (e.g., beliefs) and familial variables (e.g., parental incarceration) associated with risky behaviors in young adults
- Neuropsychology & personality - the relationship between personality, problematic behaviors, and certain neuropsychological characteristics (e.g., memory and attention)
